Staff

 

Triangle Project's staff comprises a staff complement of 11 full time staff committed to the needs of the LGBTI community of the Western Cape.

Jayne Arnott (Director)

She is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the organisation.

Marlow Valentine(Deputy Director/ Public Education and Training Manager)

He is responsible for  programmatic work including public awareness / education as well as office management, organizational operations & development.

Sharon Ludwig (Health and Support Services manager)

She is responsible for the Health and Support Services Programme area. This includes undertaking assessments, assigning clients to therapists, managing and coordinating the medical clinics, support groups, client assistance programme, the helpline, community counsellors, crisis interventions, victim support and the home based care programme 

Elsbeth Engelbrecht (Community, Engagement, Empowerment Programme manager)

She is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the outreach activities of the organisation. 

Jill Henderson (Research, Advocacy and Policy Programme)

She is responsible for researching and advocacy working around gender based violence.

Sindiswa  Thafeni (Senior Fieldworker)

She works with communities to establish safe space as well as being involved with the Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Programme (WELP).

Thembani Dyule (Senior Fieldworker)

He works with communities to establish safe spaces as well as being involved with the Men’s Empowerment and Leadership Programme (MELP)

Mabhuti Mkangeli (Fieldworker)  

He works with communities to establish safe spaces as well as being involved in the Men’s Empowerment and Leadership Programme (MELP)

Javin Jagers (Administrator and Librarian)

He is responsible for general library and administrative duties.

Heather Adonis (Health co-ordinator)

She is responsible for co-ordinating various health and support related activities.

Busisiwe Majiki (Finance administrator)

She is responsible for the financial administration of the organisation.
